If you are a resident of Chester Township or Chester Borough and will be away from your home for an extended period, the Chester Township Police Department offers complimentary vacation home checks.

During your absence, patrol officers will conduct periodic, unannounced exterior inspections of your residence. Officers will look for anything unusual, including signs of criminal mischief, trespassing, open doors or windows, or evidence of forced entry.

If you would like your residence added to the department's Vacation Home Check List, please complete the Vacation Home Questionnaire and return it to the Chester Township Police Department Records Bureau before your departure.
