The Chester Township Teen Travel camp runs for four weeks beginning July 8 and ending August 9 (no camp the week of July 15) and is for children entering 7th grade through 9th Grade as of the Fall of 2024. Teen campers will travel Monday through Friday to area theme parks and venues.

The camp will have a 1:10 staff to camper ratio.

9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily unless otherwise stated on calendar of trips.

There is no Pre Care or After Care for the Teen Travel Camp.

The camp will be based out of the Highlands Ridge Park Barn, 100 North Road, Chester.  Trips will leave and return to this site.  

Trips –Campers are transported on a school bus for the Field Trips every day. The tentative schedule is as follows:

July 22-26 Tubing/Rafting on the Delaware

Camp Fees is $455 per child per week.

Chester Township and Borough Residents – 

Registration will open 6:00am, Thursday, February 22

Nonresidents – (nonresident fee will apply)

Registration will open 6:00am, Friday, March 15.

Enrollment is on a first come first served basis. Registration will close on June 20 or as each week fills. There will be wait lists if sessions fill.A nonrefundable deposit of $50 per child per session is due immediately.* If paying by credit card or eCheck, you may do so online.  If you are paying by cash or check, you must come to the Recreation Office. Registration will not be considered accepted until payment or deposit is received. Final payment is due by Monday, May 20 or an additional $50 late fee will be charged.  Payment must be made in full to secure enrollment and there will be no refunds for cancellations after May 20 or days missed during camp.
