DPW - Seasonal Parks Maintenance

The Chester Township Department of Public Works will be looking for seasonal parks maintenance help this summer. Applicants must be at least 17 years of age and have a valid driver's license. The DPW is also looking for a fleet maintenance intern, preferably with some basic experience in automotive repair. If interested, please fill out the employment application below and submit to rcollins@chestertownship.org for consideration.

Clerical Intern -Chester Township

Chester Township is offering a full-time paid internship for the summer of 2024 available in May. The internship is designed for recent college graduates or current college students seeking a real world local government experience in a dynamic municipal office that is responsible for all the day to day administrative functions of the municipality. The candidate should have an interest in working in public administration and have the ability to work on general filing, organization of both hard copy and digital files, scanning, and other requested clerical tasks. Prior experience working in an office environment is preferred. Salary is $20.00 per hour for 35 hours per week.
